There is nothing like the delicious mild flavour of Dutch Edam to feed a hungry family.

Edam is easy to recognise thanks to its characteristic round spherical shape and bright red rind. On the inside the cheese is light yellow in colour and the occasional small hole within the cheese occurs during ripening.

Edam is a great source of calcium, so is perfect for growing bones and is lower in fat than other hard cheeses, with 25% less fat than cheddar.
